About the Museum

The untold and nearly-forgotten stories of Portuguese immigrants are preserved in this museum, enabling us to discover and appreciate their experiences.

The Portuguese Heritage Society of California built this museum with the support of the community that it represents, local governments and organizations, as well as the Government of Portugal.
